Relics of Abundance (2026), newly created for Weltmuseum Vienna, envisions our descendants sifting through the remains of our civilisation. Objects of consumer culture, from the omnipresent sneaker and smartphone to the aspirational Corbusier chair, are misremembered as devotional relics that uncover the mythological dimensions of our current age of abundance. Playful in execution yet serious about the repercussions of runaway consumption, the installation takes the form of a ceremonial space, highlighting our beliefs and the sacrifices they demand.
